' Kashmir' which has always been a controversial topic, is not a place which it might seem to be.. Kashmir is very rich in its culture and heritage. The beautiful land wrapped by mighty mountains has a fantastic history. The history backs to the epic times. When the Kambojas rules over kashmir, a republic form of rule under the kingship of King Kamboj. The capital city was Rajapura. Later the Panchalas established their sway. During 14th Century Muslims became the majority in the society. Muslims and HIndus since then have always lived with relative harmony.
